Keep in mind, this is only concept art, but it’s quite exciting to get a glimpse of what’s to come in 2020 at the Marvel-themed land at Disney California Adventure.
The new land will take over the former “A Bug’s Land,” which has already been demolished. It will feature new attractions, shops, and an eatery. The new construction zone is currently hiding behind a tall gray wall at Disney California Adventure marked “Stark Industries.” However, due to licensing rights, the park isn’t likely to have “Marvel” anywhere in its title. We’ll see how they handle that later on!

Meanwhile, Disney has described the attraction as follows: “Both parks will feature an exciting new attraction where guests of all ages can join the heroes in action. Disney is expanding its story universe by creating a new organization, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, to be the setting for this experience. Though WEB is grounded in classic characters like Peter Parker, it is an organization that all guests can be a part of—one that invites guests to engage with these iconic heroes like never before.“
“Besides WEB, there’s also a brand-new, cutting-edge interface as part of this fun, interactive attraction. Through a blend of never-before-seen technology and practical effects, guests will get to experience for themselves what it is like to have the abilities of a Super Hero.”
Back to the concept art, it appears that the ride vehicles will be on a slow-moving track. (Just my speed, thank you!) They might be 3-D and interactive. We’ll find out more soon.

As the poster says below, “Recruitment Begins“! Stay tuned for more information to be revealed in August 2019 at D23 Expo, the Ultimate Disney Fan Event! We’ll be there.
